DENNIS Smith and Johnny Haines endured mixed weekends on the PDC Tour.
The duo were in Crawley to compete in two European Tour qualifiers and two Players Championship events, with mixed results.
First up, on Friday night, was qualification for the International and then European Darts Open with the two Swindon players missing out in the second round of the first event.
The duo were given byes to round two of the European Darts Open qualifier, where Smith lost 6-0 to John Bowles, but Haines beat Kevin Painter 6-1 before overcoming Steve Hine 6-5 to secure his place.
In the first Players Championship event on Saturday, Haines picked up £250 in prize money for reaching round two, after beating Mark Frost, but Smith lost 6-1 to Justin Pipe.
On the final day, both players went out on the first round as Smith fell 6-2 to Max Hopp and Haines lost 6-4 to Micky Mansell.
