SWINDON-born seamer Craig Miles was part of the Gloucestershire side which lifted the Royal London One-Day Cup at Lord’s on Saturday.
Miles, for whom the victory capped a superb week following his inclusion in the England Performance Programme squad for the upcoming winter trips to South Africa and the UAE, bowled three overs for 24 runs as Glos secured victory by six runs at the home of cricket.
Earlier in the day, the former Purton bowler was dismissed for a first-ball duck as Gloucestershire reached 220 all out in 47.4 overs.
With Surrey requiring fewer than six runs an over with 12 overs remaining and six wickets in hand, the task was substantial for the West Country outfit, but they edged home to lift the trophy.
