JOSH Loughrey sits seven shots off the lead at the Open International Du Haut Poitou going into the final round of competition but his brother Ben failed to make the cut.
The Wrag Barn pair struggled on day one of the tournament, posting over-par scores, but on day two on Saturday Josh recovered to shoot a two-under-par 71 to lie level for the event and in a share of 15th.
Ben, however, was unable to make his way back from a 12-over-par first round, compiling a one-over 74 today to end the competition in a share of 95th place.
Josh, who won the Citadelle International Trophy last weekend, is due to tee off for his final round at 10.43am local time (9.43am BST), alongside Cedric Menut of France.
Clement Gallois, Damien Perrier, Pep Angles and Darius van Driel currently share the overall lead on seven-under-par.
