Kildemand misses out on GP spot

PETER Kildemand missed out on a 2016 Speedway Grand Prix spot in the GP Challenge in Rybnik over the weekend.

Kildemand, who recently returned as Swindon Robins number one to cover for Darcy Ward, was once of four riders who finished on 10 points overall, just one behind the top three qualifying positions.

Bartosz Zmarzlik and Piotr Pawlicki claimed the top two berths, while Chris Harris flew the British flag in third to guarantee his rides next year.

Twenty-year-old Zmarzlik topped the scoreboards with 12 points, while Pawlicki won a run-off against Harris for second after the pair finished level on 11.
