SWINDON Town loanees Kevin Stewart and Jordan Williams are in the first stages of rehab following their long term injuries sustained while in action for the Robins.
The Liverpool youngsters returned to Merseyside following their respective injuries, to undertake the recooperation period with their parent club.
Presently the duo are working independently, away from the main training group and no official time scale has been put on their respective returns, Total Sport understands.
Pending observations on the initial stages of progression of either player, it is hoped they could resume full time training before the end of December.
Both players find themselves in the race back to full fitness after sustaining knee injuries during their time in Wiltshire.
Stewart picked up a medial knee ligament injury when representing the Robins against Newport County at the beginning of September.
Williams likewise joined Swindon Town’s lengthy absentee list after incurring a build up of fluid on the knee joint.
The pair had featured regularly for Swindon Town under former boss Mark Cooper, and were important pieces in the Robins’ early promising League One form.
Both players signed one year loan deals at the beginning of the campaign, with the intention of picking up valuable League One playing time to add to their resume before returning to stake claim to a first team place on Merseyside.
