LAWRENCE Vigouroux will today return to Liverpool for a one day review of his current progress.

As is standard procedure for most loan deals, Vigouroux will make the trip to Merseyside for an assessment of his progress at the County Ground, sources close to Total Sport have revealed.

The Chilean stopper’s review however will not impact upon this weekend’s home fixture against Scunthorpe United, as new manager Martin Ling searches for his first victory at the Robins helm.

The news comes after Liverpool had recently called loanee Ryan Kent in for review, after impressing so far this season with League One outfit Coventry City.

In recent months Vigouroux has been a strong performer in what, on many occasions, has been an under-performing Swindon team.

The 21-year-old made national headlines back in September after it was revealed he paid for a fifty pounds training ground late fine in pennies, and was subsequently dropped from the starting XI.

Vigouroux will be between the sticks for the Swindon on Saturday as they welcome Scunthorpe to SN1, hoping to keep a clean sheet for the first time in over two months.

The last shut-out for the Robins came back on August 22nd, when a 2-0 score line saw an away victory at Southend United.
